Not much new

Well, it is Thursday, and the new year is just rolling along. I have found a new journal- Laura Lippman, another author that I have not read. (I find the authors that I haven't read.) Apparently she teaches-at least in the time frame I am reading which is her earliest years of the journal, and she has a website that I have not visited. I linked to her through Hedgehog. I enjoy reading the blog and her memory exercises though I haven't done them since that is not the purpose of my read. She (at the time that I am reading) is living in Baltimore-or is remembering Baltimore, I can't always tell-this is during 2004-2005. But her descriptions of the streets and city politics put you right there.

I have 3 meetings scheduled for today. We are scheduled to get a snow storm tomorrow & Saturday-similar to what we received in December. (maybe no work Monday-SNOWDAY!!!!!) yes I am a kid at hear! I have to cover the Division's secretary's desk Friday, Monday & Tuesday-so plenty of time to type up all the staff notes and input this week's time for payroll.

Crocheting has been going slow, I am not really enthused about the second baby blanket-it is really easy. I expect that I will finish it this weekend. Then I will set up my daughters blanket so that I can reach it easy when I am sitting on the couch. We will be buy new furniture once we can get to the furniture store-this weekend is out because of the snow storm. We will probably go next Saturday. We will get more boxes unpacked somewhat, but don't want to get too many done since moving stuff around to put new furniture down is counterproductive.

My Chia herbs are growing. I moved them into the garden room now that they are sprouting. Pretty soon fresh herbs to transplant. Once I can keep the blinds open during the day, I plan on getting a rosemary plant as well as several other herb plants. Since they are indoors, they will act as perenials even if they are annuals if I use them and cut them right. (I hope-never tried herb gardening indoors before.) Hubby plans on trying to grow tomatoes-cherry tomotatoes. We will see what happens.
