deep thoughts

I took my best friend's advise and read my journal from beginning to present. Something we all should do occaisionally-not too often though. Besides all the spelling and misuse of words, what did I learn? I learned that I do need to go back to school. What for? Writing skills? When? Well that is the question. I do need to learn. I do need to keep on writing. I do also need to continue progressing in my work. Am I strong enough to do all of that-I believe so. I did manage to carry 2 courses and maintain A's in both at the same time while working full time with a full house, including teenage boy, and a granddaughter. So, with just hubby and I, with his support, I should be able to, as the saying goes, muster on. Writing courses should be relatively easy to find, no? I just need guidance, fine tuning- I need to learn how to read my own writing critically. But first, I do need to take some college level creative writing courses so that I can fully understand what I am reading when I read discourses about 'voices'. I get part of it, the rest was a little bit of a slog. I was reading Mark Terry journal posting in 2005 here in journal scapes. It was an English lesson that I think I missed in grade school-parts of speech always gave me a headache.

I also need to work on my career plan. Will need to reset date with my boss- solid date.
