writing

He stayed home sick today. said he was going to wash dishes never did. He did finally go get scripts, didn't want me to do it. We ordered chinese for supper. Then he left. Instead of doing dishes, I got on and started writing. I am still on, got back on when he came home after I unloaded groceries-he picked up a roasting chicken, the scrips, some cookies(?), potato chips(?)& french onion dip. Oh I'll admit to eating some chips & dip, but not that they really were on shopping list. He just felt bad. Tv is on, and he kept asking if I was watching what was on, then I was trying to add something up and he saw that, and made comment about not disturbing me. Well, I know I said I would just pay attention to him, but I can't do that, it is not healthy for me.

But here is some indication of my writing Word counts (using word program) Chapt 1 11726, chap 2 5543, chapt 3 5889, chapt 4 2557, chapt 5 3648, chapt 6 3478. total to date 32841. I think that the chapters will get reformatted. I can see where the breaks would be different. I am about page 60-double spaced-times new roman font.

Tomorrow I will be in training so will not have access to computers at all. Had to rush to get a lot of work done, and Wednesday and Thursday and Friday will be more of the same.

On a better news front, When I walked in, there was a card sitting on my keyboard. In it was a gift card to Wal-Mart from my Program Distribution Analyst. She is the go between our manager and I. She will give me assignments and lots of times will clarify some items he wants done. I also vent to her. Her equivalent in another unit gave me a card with $10 cash in it. This is for what use to be called 'Secretary's day". It is nice to be appreciated. I do help them by explaining some spreadsheet usage-these are GS13/14 I am GS7. They make way more than I do. (almost double). They have been around just as long as I have too.
