Jenn's idea about writing a 'how to' book on crochet has been done, but a new idea has been perculating. My growth in crochet can be traced in my growth in life. something just to think about it. I appreciate the comments from Eric and Rhubarb. But it will be a balancing act.

I have found that I may be one of those types that 'need' more alone time from spouse than what can be healthy for this marriage. Most of this comes from the fact that for the first majority of our marriage, he was in the military or worked primarily nights. Either I was a stay at home mom, or I worked days. Left long stretches of time where I became accustomed to being able to amuse myself as I saw fit. (legally and morally correct guys, keep it nice.)

Now it is time to change that, and like the stay at home wife, whose husband has retired and wants to direct her activities, it is hard to adjust. But we must. We will come up with a plan together. (I came up with a plan on my own too easily. Probably because it had been stewing for weeks in my brain.)

He will be home soon. And we will talk. And work things out. I will share time and activity. Found one he IS interested in. That he can do. Without input. And I have already purchased items for last April when we were in IL for DD wedding.- drawing. Art for himself. Go for it.
