Quiet on Eastern Front

For once, peaceful. Not the quiet before the storm, but true peaceful. Tonight we see counselor-so there may be upheaval a bit-usually there is, but we are talking ourselves. The stop in the park helps. That pause, the deep breath before coming to the apartment helps both of us. Hubby said that he thought of asking DS to come live out here with us. privacy would be issue. Yup, it would be, but I think we could handle it for a few months, especially if DS could get job transfer. Something to talk about. He wouldn't need vehicle-public transportation is great. So is walking. Could work out. Probably something to think about. Approach with son this weekend when we talk.

Found out hubby and I need to get to bed by 10. No more watching "Chopped" on food network. Ends too late. Oh for the energy of youth!! All the good shows come on too late and we don't have a way to record them!

Watched "So you think you Can Dance" last night. I didn't realize it had started up again. Looks like a good season again. Although a short season-only a final 10 dancers will be selected in Vegas. The last dancer they had on was deaf. He used the bass in the music. He was good-needed more training in other forms of dance. But was better than some of the others.

"Hell's Kitchen" is back on-and Gordon Ramsey has another cooking show that seems more interesting-I think that they will be watched this summer.

Hubby and I have decided to take some day trips this year in town, but the heat doesn't do me any good. So careful planning will ensue. He has to start working some Overtime-and will do so from home on Sundays-probably while I am at church.
