forgot to tell you all

My FMLA for diverticulitus has been approved-manager told me the other day. He was surprised at how he was notified. Yeah, no more having to get very specific dr. notes for it. Now to get it for my migraines-that will happen in September I think. I can carry up to 240 advance sick leave under our rules with management argueing. No I won't abuse it, but no more pushing it when I know what I need to do to get better faster. Still have to follow the call in rules and if I am out more than 3 days in a row, need a note, but otherwise, still better.

Last night, DH and I had a talk, still not totally happy with something-but compromise will be easier to deal with than the upset nights. Sometimes you have to bend.

We lost cable, phone, & internet last night-bad storm came through-parts of MD & Va had tornado warnings and watches. Unusual for this part of the country. This is the problem with having a "package deal" with the cable company.

No jury duty today, tonight is my last call in, hopefully I'll have it again. Yesterday we were released early, and like a good little worker bee, I came into work. Then I looked at the serve slip they gave-they don't give a time of dismissal. Yesterday I had time sheets to input. Monday I won't. Hmmm. We'll see-it would also depend on what time I am released.
