patterns and other things

I realized something last night that I didn't like and I have to figure out how to address it. DH doesn't like the idea of me going to my craft meeting by myself-traveling home in dark is the part he objects to-safety issues. And I agree. But I don't think him saying that he "goes out of his way to come here" is something that I need to be reminded of. Of course he was really cold because he left where he was half an hour early. He wanted to leave at 8 and I was buying yarn (for his Christmas Gift-sweater) and had to wait for the shop owner since she is holding some back since I couldn't pay for all of it at one time; and my 1 minute signs to him ended up being 10 minutes and I spent $15 more than I expected. I am also going to address the fact that I still am 'asking' for money as I need it. I have approached this several times. But it seems that he thinks that the way he does the budget is best. Our money goes into a big pot, all the bills get paid (including funds to ds&dd) then whats left is it-then groceries, scripts etc. and what is left is fun money. That money is used for ordering in, my nails, lunches we buy together, etc. But he always seems to get cash out of ATM before I do and then he gives me what I need-or to make sure I have money in my wallet, or he asks how much I think I need and tells me which account card to use. That doesn't allow me to make decisions to change what I am planning on purchasing. I am tired of that type of planning. I wanted us to both get an "allowance" each pay day. He keeps on delaying that. And we live payday to payday. And when there is an occaision when I need to give funds at work- I hope I have enough in my wallet. Or when I want to buy him a gift-I am out of luck cause I have to ask him for the funds.
