i am fine

Ok it is official. I have what is called "spastic colon". It does fall under the umbrella of IBS. I am to keep a food diary, keep track of my pain levels on daily basis-see if correlation applies. Watch my internal and external systems-and if pain get to be as severe as it was-then call doctor back. I have pain medicine that allows me to work-Hurray!!!! If that doesn't work-then call doctor, but best thing for me-when pain hits, is to get up and go to work-movement is best for this type of pain. In other words if pain is in my right side-take medicine, get up and go to work. If pain medicine doesn't control the pain, then the situation has to be re-evaluated. But doc seems to think that won't happen for awhile-since I have a handle on it now.-pain is caused by a type of constipation high in the intestines. When I know I am going to eat food that may cause opposite problem-I have a pill for that too. I am one of the unfortunate ones-I get it both ways. DH boss has IBS-but only one way. That is the norm. But since when did I do things the normal way? Never!. Just good to know that I can handle this. Of course DH isn't understanding alot of this, but I am seeing what has to be done. The movement of body, helps the rest of body-even though I don't want to move cause of pain-oh boy. But I am young and healthy enough in other ways! And NO SURGERY!! NO CANCER! NO REMOVAL OF ORGANS! And doc doesn't want to see me unless it gets to the point where meds aren't working. So that is the great news!!
