HOMEWORK?!

Yup, I got homework. Of the knitting kind.

I went to the knitting class last night. Everyone else has a very simple pattern. NOT me. Everyone is working their sweater from the bottom up. NOT me. Everyone has at least 3-4 inches done. Well, I have 3 inches of 1 shoulder done. (after I ripped "frogged" out 12 rows I did there because I dropped a stitch and couldn't find out where.) I did meet several new people, the class has 3 guys in it and 3 other ladies. If these guys are gay, they hide it well-unlike the free knit meeting I go to on Wednesday nights where it is very open. I don't blame them. One of the ladies was very cold. I tried to introduce myself and got a real cold shoulder-not even a name back. Attitude-I AM HERE TO KNIT AND NOTHING ELSE. Ok, she was like that to everyone, including the shop owner. One in every crowd. She really hated putting her sweater onto waste yarn to get a good measurement. And then having to put it back onto the needles. She lost a stitch and started complaining. We commiserated, but she was able to make it up without frogging any of it. Part of me wishes I had found an easier pattern, but I am glad I didn't since I never do things the easy way. As I am sure those of you who have been reading my blog have found out!!

Since we a scheduled to have massive rains, I am not going to the knit meeting tonight. DH was questioning that reasoning, but I am tired today and don't want to risk exposing myself to getting sick. I think (pray) that if I can keep my leave usage way down for the next couple of months, I can get myself back on track.
