Bus Drivers

I take the bus every morning. I try to sit in the front simply because I am more comfortable sitting where I can see the driver. This morning the bus driver was one I had before many times. He is familiar with the route.

Each bus has a large rear view mirror that allows the driver to see up the aisle and the back door. That door is really a side door. At every stop this driver had to be told to open the back door. It wouldn't be so bad, except that the bus company has had a campaign for passengers to enter by the front door and leave by the back door! Passengers always leave by the back door on this route.

On another note, I guess I am no longer young! When the bus pulled up to my stop this morning, I saw a young woman get up. She didn't get off the bus, and when another young woman sat down in that seat the first young womang gestured to me and said, "I got up to give her the seat." OOPs. The grey/white hair I have at the front of my head too telling?

Tonight is the rebirth of the crochet meetings at church. I am looking forward to them. And so is DH.

Also glad to report that this weekend is suppose to be pleasant and sunny-at least Saturday. So I think that we will be going out!!
