Monday, Monday

Don't like that day!
Odd isn't it-here I was just thinking that I was feeling great. Should've kept it to myself! I caught a cold!!

I hate summer colds!. Felt the scratchy throat coming on Saturday. By yesterday it was full blown. But I am here at work today.

I know what the meaning of the word "muddle-headed" means today. Unfortunately I have had 2 corrections to time to input already. One was an error I did on Friday that my manager missed (I don't know and she doesn't know how we both missed it). The other was an error by an employee-the employees manager missed it. Taking drugs to help control symptoms of cold and being at work doesn't the most intelligent employee make. But I AM HERE!!!!

No reading review today. I cannot think any deep thoughts today.

On Saturday DH & I went to the movies-we saw First Class. It is about the first X-men. It was enjoyable-started real slow, but gave good back story. I am not going to give away plot etc. You don't have to stay beyond the credits on this one though. Shucks!

Forgot to mention on Friday-I am still losing weight. Put on a skirt that had been still snug on me last time I went through my clothes. It wasn't anymore. This is giving me hope.

Last March I had heard about the 3day walks that Avon does for breast Cancer. I thought about signing up. I know 1 person who died, and 2 who had double mastectomies. And a 3rd person here who doesn't talk about it.(1 wasn't found until stage 4-I don't know how she is doing now, lost touch.)

Anyway, Avon has the walk here in DC every Apri. The next one is 9 month away. It runs for 3 days-20 miles each day. That gives me plenty of time to train. I just have to figure out how to train for such an endeavor-because it would be for all 60 miles-for all 3 days. DH said he would wheel it all with me. Anyone have any ideas?
