And now our business units are converting to how the rest of our government inputs time-by codes saying what type of work we are doing. They use to do it many moons ago and stopped because it was 'too hard to track'(?)! Well, accountability is the new word here, and now just saying 8 hours work isn't cutting it anymore. There is a general code for some work, but there are break downs. In my branch there a 3 sections-each doing different work. All will separate codes. Manager has given me task of coordinating code with task. Two spreadsheets to merge. With some info and guides. By the 23rd if at all possible. Ok, I did ask for work.

And there is that supply requisition for that other Branch chief that has to be done by COB today.

And cover Division Secretary desk for 1 hour, and Front office Desk for 1 hour. (our month again!)

The detailee followed our branch chief on her acting assignment since that secretary found a detail out real fast-that secretary wouldn't like to really work!

So it will be a real busy day. Oh,yeah, and 2 job applications to finalize and get in. And found out yesterday that they will be opening a job in my branch at a low enough level that I will qualify to apply. I will apply at the lowest grade just to get it!!
