Why?

Why do some people make a job sound harder than it is? Combining information is not difficult. Use this number to look up the code that belongs there. Input it. End of story. At work we are changing to a new (to here) way of tracking time. So codes have been developed for what part of the job you are doing. That's the hard part. 2 spread sheets already done for me, and the manager seemed to think that I couldn't find the code and put it in the box with the corresponding job number. DUH!!! I did graduate from high school when we had to be able to read to do so!

I thought it was going to be a lot harder and a lot more work from the way they were talking. It took me less than an hour. I scheduled 4 hours. I will be reviewing again.

No problems with it. It is done. I wonder if part of the problem was that they had the college graduate detailee do the first half of the spreadsheet?! Took her over two weeks to do it.

Either that or because I had so many migraines within the last year my work was not the best. Oh, well, I will send it to my manager before lunch. I told her that I would have it done by COB tomorrow. I guess I am 24 hours early. That is good!

Also told her idea that I start inputing time until employees get used to idea of all these codes, since it takes me almost as long to review them on Friday as it does to input them myself!! I can imagine what is going to happen if they have to do it all themselves!!!
