Song of Fortune (a review)

Once again a poem to review. I know it has been awhile since I have done this, but I thought I would give it another go.

This poem speaks to the heart of all man. How we yearn for the goodness of life-not of the things that money can buy. But of the things that our spirits need. Peace, love, beauty, kindness, spirituality if you will. And how the 'real world' interferes in us obtaining that. How our soul is starved, while the beast in man is satisfied, and when we finally realize what we are doing, for most of us, it is too late.

As individuals, we need to wake up a lot sooner.
