Smooth Sailing

You cannot tell by my desk, but it is smooth sailing here. Work is getting accomplished. Peace reigns supreme. Plans being made for when return from vacation.

I have a daytrip planned to meet up with friends from crochet group in IL. I am blessed that they are willing to take a day off of work to meet with me during the work day. I am bringing them each a scarf that I bought several weeks ago. I thought I was buying the scarves for myself, but I guess I really wasn't. I love serendipity! DH was a little upset that I made the plans, but DD was fine with it. That day is the day she planned for him to make the Lasagna, since SIL doesn't like pasta too much. DGD will love helping him with that.

Last night I boiled some eggs-I told DH that they were the top group. He put eggs in both of our lunches for us to have as snacks. AT 9, I went to have one. OOPS! it was a raw one. He got the bottom group out thinking that I had boiled 18. A little miscomunication. So I ended up cracking the eggs into a plastic cup and scrambling them, and microwaving them. Not too bad. All I could think of was good thing they didn't break in my sandwich bag on the the way in! What a yucky mess that would've been!!
