Just Thinking

It is going to be a busy day today so I thought that I would take a few minutes to say hello before I dove into work. I probably will come up for air now and then, but not for long.

Dh is starting to feel the strain of walking instead of wheeling. He will be working from home tomorrow. I find that my legs hurt more walking at his slower pace than at my normal pace. I will enjoy the separateness tomorrow-although today we will not have lunch together. His group is having an all employee meeting with lunch, and I have my work crochet lunch meeting.

I found out last night that the DC yarn shop I go to has moved-it is now further away. Going on Wednesday nights will be out of question. It is close to where my sleep study is. I may do it occaisionally-however, there is another yarn shop in the "Loop" which is actually a whole lot closer and may work out even better. I will have to seriously look into it. I still have to buy about $75 worth of yarn to use up coupons at the old place. I will still go there-I like the owner and she is knowledgeable about knitting.

I have decided that knitting will never be my 'thing'. It doesn't move fast enough for me. It is pretty and I will keep my hand in it-experiment with cables and lace knitting. But not for the everyday items. I see people knit fast and enjoy it, and I am glad. But knitting doesn't bring the same music to me that it does to others. Almost, but not quite. Oh well, I just need to finish that sweater!
