SNOW?

Ok, I am in DC. We have been getting lots of rain. Now the temps are dropping and snow is moving into the region-still a little west of us, but snow is forcasted for this weekend. Uh, folks, it is still just October!!

B's wheelchair is still out of service. They were able to replace 1 wheel, but not the other. And the one they put on doesn't look quite right. So the repairman has to put in an order for the chair to be picked up. His truck was full. The company only comes into DC on Thursdays. B is walking to work again, and working from home on other days. At least the bad weather will keep us home tomorrow. Good!

We are planning on going to church on Sunday. Driving-finally settled with him on how it will work. His instigation on parts of it-but he was doing 'matyr' and going to walk from the metro station-over half a mile. Uh, nope. we are driving.

He still expects me to teach him the principles that he should have learned 20 years ago. He never asked questions when he should have. I didn't know he wasn't learning and those who were teaching him presumed he knew more than he did. Oh, well, I told him that he needs to ask to sit in the 'gospel principles' class. He doesn't get that you are to sit in that class for a full year-and you will learn. You are suppose to study and read on your own, in addition to the Sunday School classes, and you will learn. And that it takes time. There are so many things that I 'know' but I don't know from where I learned them that I cannot easily direct him to the source. I have 35 years of learning and of faith. And I researched many religions/belief systems before I found this one. He never did this type of research on his own. He still doesn't do much research on his own. He wants us to do it together. That is hard to do.
