Friday!

It is quiet now. Time is all input. I am at the front office again. But the boss has left for the day. So no one to worry about. Only if a phone call comes in, which I don't expect.

Tonight will be a vacumning and cleaning night. Tomorrow, breakfast and then off to get my liscense updated. They had my address apartment wrong so I have to go in person-even though I know I changed it online when we moved, I got the Jury information! Then at 4 someone from the Church is going to visit.

This is the husband of one of my friends from the church. We call them Home teachers. Their job is to make sure we are ok. In real life they act like relatives-someone you should be able to call on if there is a problem you need help with. I have had good ones and bad ones. B respects the person who is coming, but he can fool this person easily enough too. If the wife comes, I will love it. They had gone to Ireland a couple of years ago, and she had been in my crochet group before that. She's great, and their marriage is one that I would like to have. Strong boundaries, you can see the equality and respect in the relationship, as well as the love. Even when she gets exasperated with him. I had a chance to see that when a parking ticket was on the car he advised her to drive home, it was too close to the corner. When I asked her about it, she said, "He'll pay for it out of his money, not the household. But it does aggravate me because this is my car and too many of these changes the insurance. But he's the one who will be responsible for the increase in cost." What was interesting about the exchange was how it was over. No worry on her part, no wonder about how he was going to react (to his mistake), and on we drove talking happily.

In all the time we have been here, we have not been assigned Home teachers. B makes it hard to have them and he has always been that way. I love having them because they can be the lead to social activity and also give a sense of family. Someone cares what is happening to you..(I know you all do, but this is a real live person who can rally physical beings to help-virtual wishes help, but a live kick in the pants is needed sometimes too ;)))))

Everyone, have a safe and good weekend. I do not know if I will get online this weekend. The way I have to keep my neck is not conducive to using my phone for access to this site. I may try tomorrow night. To keep you all abreast, and to keep me abreast of you all.
