Thursdays

Well, I am at work. Not much new-well I guess it is new since I have been out of work so much.

We are settling in the apartment. I guess I wasn't clear on why we had to move out-the plumbing work involves digging up the floor in the bedroom, foyer, foyer closet and bathroom. (and now the bedroom closets-both of them!) I am not going to worry about any of it. It is all beyond my control.

The little apartment is just about under control. Just some small stuff to be organized. I told B, we are in a hotel room for a few weeks. It just happens that the hotel room is in the same building our apartment is in!

Most of my muscle aches are on the down swing, but B messed up his legs. They are prone to open sores on both shins, and are in bad shape. I had him call doc yesterday because I didn't like the 'weeping wounds' he had. He's had them before and if we don't watch it gangrene can set in. He is on antibiotics.

Tonight is MC. We are going out to dinner before hand. A dinner we can actually eat at a table and chairs. The MC will be on vacation for 3 weeks, so we can afford a small splurge now. For the next 3 weeks we won't be going to her. Sweetie will be alone for awhile, but we'll make it up to her. she has a nice window view and she'll get lots of patting when we get home.

Last night, we watched Monster's Inc. and I finished B's slippers-I have to make adjustments. I did this set of slippers in 2 days, and one seems to be a little off. It fell off his food while he was asleep.
