Don't Tell

There is a saying "Want to make God laugh, tell him your plans."

Well, HE really laughed at me. I wrote that I would come to work sick. Yup. Really meant that. Then came Sunday. And my diverticulitis acted up, thought that I would be going to the ER, had to go back to bed, couldn't sit up. I am still on antibiotics and there is not much else they can do without surgery. (and I don't want that) So, plenty of fluids, pain pills and rest. Plenty of rest. Finally better.

And here I am again. With a letter and form that my doctor has to fill out. I have been expecting it. At least my manager handed it to me instead of mailing it certified. I need to call my doctor to see him. I don't want to retire, but I do need to get things under control. Don't have a choice.

If there was only one thing wrong, or if it was a serious medical condition that stopped me from working full time, I could see it. Its the on again off again that is so aggravating. B and I racked our brains trying to figure out what I ate that could have triggered the attack. I have been so careful of everything!

I still have a small area that is in discomfort, but the pain is not great and I can ignore it.
