It's the deca/dent time of summer!

It's good to have Blue Bossa back from an odyssey involving two trips to the repair shop and covering 12 days. Perhaps there will be more details in subsequent posts, but this morning I had a make a wish moment. Hmm, you can't spell "moment" without "omen" and quite a few of us sapienics are captivated by them.

I settled into the driver seat and viewed the instrument panel. The car I'd borrowed in the mean time was the parents' Carolla, fetched from its current base in Simi Valley, and does not display the odometer or for that matter time with the key in the off position. Tricked up Blue Bossa does, and as my weight found its roost---what flipped on the panel?

It was not the time, but that favorite of my OCD the trip odometer: from 1.2 to 1.3! With the engine off! What are the odds? Could I ever do that again? The news will always put me in my place, though.

But an individual ***can***make a difference, even with the derriere, one tenth at a time. And I ought to know about tens, these last two weeks have nickel and dimed me.

More later, now that my subject line is eliciting groans from my educated clientele.
