Today was a good day. I got a ton of stuff done at work, I'm home at a reasonable time, I get a night to myself, I have 5 Netflix to watch (Samurai X - Ruroni Kenshin the younger) and I have lots of cold beer in the fridge. Yes, today is a good day.

Yesterday wasn't half bad, either. I made dinner Tuesday and Wednesday nights, as well as going to kung fu class both nights. My cold is receding, albeit slowly. Class kicked my butt last night, though - Sifu was extra "nice" again, for the second night in a row, and my poor little muscles just couldn't keep up.

My leg is fine. Sifu Carrie "rubbed it out" yesterday before class. OOOOOOWWW!!!!!! Youchie big time. I think I worked up a better sweat sitting through her treatment than I did during the rest of the night!! I think it helped though - it really does look a lot better today. I'm a little apprehensive about Saturday - I have a habit of scraping things across my shins when I pick them up, which will be taboo this weekend. I'm sure I'll learn fast!

Otherwise...I've got a major bug up my ass about music. I want to get back into playing. I redid my iPod for the first time in months, and I've been hopping schizophrenically all over the musical map. What fun! I also got a compliment from a higher-up at work today; apparently he was enjoying my iTunes shared list. See, I added the word "ok" to the comment tag of all the PG songs, and created a playlist of everything with that in the comment - so that I can share a large part of my music without fear of repercussion when someone encounters Prince, Black Sabbath or Third Eye Blind in my library. Anyhow, I resisted the urge to tell Jeff that if he liked the kosher stuff, he should come downstairs and check out my REAL music! Better part of valor, etc.

Anyhow, enough boring mundane every-day-life stuff. I'm going to watch some Kenshin, that I am!
