She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Whoosh!

BH: 522

I feel like I missed today. Where did it go? What did I do? How did it get to be after 11 p.m. already? I got up early. I copy edited. I showered. Ken came home for lunch and we went over finances and such. He came home early (for him) from work—his vacation has officially started! We went out and bought star stamps so we can work on the library ceiling tomorrow, and I found another pair of the wonderful boots from Walmart, and we got a few more presents. Two Walmarts were out of the big bottle of liquid gold leaf, so we’ll have to check the big art store nearby tomorrow. We still have to clean the living room and dig out the Xmas boxes in the garage and buy a tree. Ack. Too fast! Whoosh! goes the day! Whoosh! goes the month!
