Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Bow bow diddy bow bow

BH: 906

I’ve had some productive days this week, and I plan this one to be so, too. I’m going to do a little writing, then shower and run to the Post Office, and then come back and plan the day. I have a new journal article to start editing, I want to work on both BH and the crow story, I’ve got a couple of SCA projects that need work (and with one of them, I need to start simply giving it an hour a day and it’ll be done in no time)

Gingersnaps! I have gingersnaps! I’ve been craving them recently, and as I was making my afternoon cuppa (the one with caffeine*) I remembered them. Huzzah!

And, more huzzah! We ordered Sarah’s plane ticket! She’ll be here from 28 March through 7 April. Happy birthday to me!

Ken’s home, and he’s taking tomorrow off, which will be loverly. He’ll mostly be working on the outbuilding roof, but it’ll be good to get that project done. We had pesto linguine with grape tomatoes for dinner and have been somewhat sluglike and watching HGTV (the home and garden channel). But it’s nice to cuddle and veg. Except that it makes me want to rip up the living room carpet and stuff like that. [g]

*Interesting. I just noticed that “caffeine” not only breaks the “i before e except after c” rule, but also the German pronunciation rule.
