Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Devil of a time

It looks like it?s going to be another lovely grey day. It was even sprinkling this morning. Yay. A good writing day.

Good already, because I?ve sold another story! Teresa and I sold ?Under a Double Rainbow? to the erotica magazine Moist! This comes right on the heels of the official confirmation that we sold ?Hestia in Heat? to the Erotic Mythology anthology. (We wrote both stories for the antho, and the editor expressed an interest an interest in ?Hestia?, and recently asked us for our credits to include in our bios, so that seems to be the official acceptance. I was already counting it as an acceptance in Dec. 02.).

I am having a devil of a time concentrating today. I really do feel like I have PME a week early. I don?t want to work on BH. I don?t even really want to write. I finally realised I want to _sew_. I want to make a peacock blue wool cotehardie and? Stop me now, please. I so don?t have time for this.

Welcome to my two new journal subscribers, who may be the first two people I don?t actually know personally. Nifty.
