Niggling headache

summer/new erotica: 159
exercise: 30 min bike

Woke up today with a headache I still haven’t managed to shake (several hours later), plus it’s hot today. I’ve got the room AC on, which is loud and a little annoying. I’ve been answering e-mails, adding to the scarily long list of things to do when we get home, and otherwise organising my brain. I have no idea what story to pick to work on. The thought of writing makes me weary, largely because of the headache. I may go work out first and see if that helps kickstart anything.

Added the missing entries for the end of May. Enjoy. Or whatever.

Well, this just hasn’t been a writin’ kind of day. Annoying, really. I can’t seem to get enthusiastic about any of my ideas or any of the anthology themes. I did start one story, just a sort of ramble to see if anything would kickstart. No real luck yet.

But I did work out, and I’ve been reading, and I typed in some of my notes from the OCW workshop last year, which I’ve been meaning to do for ages. So that’s something. My headache’s still niggling a little, but I’m winning the fight.

Tonight we’re going out to dinner with Lev and Gayle again, and Jay, a writer who went to a different OCW session than I did. Should be fun. Ken and I may go to Powell’s afterwards, and possibly out for a drink with a former coworker of his, if he can get ahold of the guy.
