She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Emotion scale swings positive

Grumble. I bought a Palm Ultra-Thin Keyboard, and it sucks. We went to three different stores, and I felt the other kind I saw was too small, key-wise. This one just doesn’t work. Research online shows that a lot of them don’t. It’s going back tomorrow. The kind I want—the same size/shape as my old one, which isn’t compatible w/my new Palm—seems to have been discontinued.

In more positive news, however, my car has four new tyres, new shocks, and has been aligned. It drives soooo much better now. The old tyres weren’t dead, but they’d started to wear funny, and with bad shocks as well, the driving experience was less than great. Planned in the near future are a tune-up, an air conditioning recharge, and a check into a couple of minor problems. I’m a much happier driver already.
