She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Superpowers

Queen of Hearts, Hand of Fate: 1179

Actually, some of those words were written the other night, but I never made note of them.

This is the story I’ve been fretting over. Fretting because I didn’t have the time to work on it. In reality, which I’ve faced over the last day or so, I’ve been afraid to work on it. I’ve got a chance at a major publication, and that scares me. Tonight I finally sat down, gave myself a pep talk, and did my best to get out of my own way. So far, so good.

Did prelim work on the next Sage job. Answered e-mail, made phone calls (messages left—why does no one call me back?!). Did more work on the GP (Maren typed in a bunch of stuff for me. She rocks! She has the superpower of speedy typing!)
