Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

What day is it?

Did I really forget to post yesterday? Huh. Well, I copy edited, and got various other things done, and Ken and I went to his mom’s for supper. Afterwards we came home and watched TV with Cat. Another thrilling Day in the Life.

Today I copy edited and caught up on e-mail and tried to rest my right shoulder, which is starting to hurt. Tonight we went to Council, and Cat came with us. I took notes, and gave reports (Avant Courier, Chronicler, and Costuming—oops, just realised I forgot to mention the Garment District trip tomorrow), and sold GP subscriptions. Afterwards a bunch of us went out to dinner and were geeky together.

Tomorrow, after the Garment District trip, we’re off to San Diego for Coronation. Well, tomorrow night we’re going to see Reduced Shakespeare, because an SCA friend is in it. Coronation is Saturday. On Sunday, instead of Queen’s Champion, we’re going on a bike ride.

And then Ken leaves Monday morning. Dammit, the week went too fast.

Anyway, it’s possible you won’t hear from me again until Sunday night or Monday, so don’t panic, remember your towel, and have a great weekend.
