Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Rushing and relaxing

AETW: 0
exercise: 15 CT, 1/2 abs

I never did get around to watching TV last night. I wrote, then crashed.

Oh, now what have I gotten myself into? I’m on a team of folks that’s designing and editing Corporate handbooks for the SCA. A new one hit our In Boxes this morning, and it’s a rush job, proofreading only. I said sure, no problem.

Then I discovered it was 60+ pages long. Oops.

SoI did that today, and paid some bills, and potted herbs, and exercised, and fed myself. Now I’m going to slip my aching body into a nice hot bubbly bath and read for awhile.

Back again. My bath was lovely; I read most of an Anne Stuart romance/thriller, and finished it whilst lounging on the sofa. Then I watched some TV, ate some popcorn, and retired back to the study, where I’ve been answering e-mail and such. I didn’t get any handwork done, partly because my inner wrists hurt from yesterday’s weed-pulling. Ack.
