Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Candles, boots, bath salts (maybe)

AETW: 794
exercise: 30 CT, 1 abs

Not a lot to report today. It was a good day overall. I went to the craft store (something of a nightmare at this time of year, but I needed some stuff for a project I realised has to be done by Sunday, eek!) and the grocery store (where I got cranky and decided to buy anything I could at TJ’s tomorrow). I exercised, and it felt pretty good. I did some weaving. I did a little work on the new project, to see if what I was planning was possible. I got my e-mail In Box down to three messages (!!), one of which is just a reminder to myself (a couple more e-mails have arrived, though. Minor stuff.). I mailed four erotica stories to various best-of anthos. I wrote, and will do a little more before I toddle off to bed. Cat and I watched two eps of “Tru Calling” this evening. We were going to watch only one, but it had a bit of a cliffhanger, you see… We kept having to pause to discuss potential logic inconsistencies. I like watching TV with people who want to talk about it.

Tomorrow is a chiro appt, dropping off a prescription, TJ’s, writing, finishing the current weaving project, working on the other project, and sewing night. Oh, and dumping some shows to tape before the DVR fills up (like the two “Tru Callings”, and “Battlestar Galactica”, because I decided I wanted to keep it).

So, not an exciting weekend, but a reasonably productive one. Let’s hope for the same for the beginning of the week, at least. Ken comes home Wednesday morning!

It was good that I took a couple of days off from AETW. My subconscious is refreshed and providing me with a good deal of useful information. :-)
