Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

No, really this time

We watched “Angel” last night, and were going to watch a “CSI” when Cat came home, so we chatted with her for a bit, and ended up in bed before 11. We woke up way early, though—Ken was out of bed by 5, I think, and I lingered about half an hour, surrounded by all the cats (very rare for Eostre!), before the call of leftover pizza grew too strong for me. Cat was also awake, so we chatted more, and I’ve caught up on online journals and answered a bunch of e-mail. Now I’m going to toddle off and take a shower, and have another cup of tea, and I’m sure we’ll be on the road soon thereafter.

I have to say, the more I think about 2004 and what we have planned (whether it be writing, or Sarah’s visit, or all the planned travel), the more excited I get. It’s going to be a good year, I can feel it.
