She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Not worth getting up for

The headache went away during the night, but was back when I woke up this morning. Sigh.

The first Styx concert in Virginia has been cancelled. No explanation why, as yet. And I have to be up before 8 a.m. tomorrow to buy tickets for the Lincoln City concert.

Can I go back to bed now? Maybe after a good stiff drink?

That last sentence was prophetic. Now it’s after midnight, and I’m still not in bed, although I’m having a glass of wine to help me relax enough to actually fall asleep. I haven’t gotten everything done that I needed to, in part because proofreading the Society Marshal’s Handbook took me much longer than I expected.

Ceridwen came over and gave me another massage, which was very painful (and she clucked in sympathy when she first felt my neck and shoulders) but seems to have done the trick with my headache. She warned me to take Ibuprofen after she left, and I did once my arm started to feel as though it was separating from my shoulder. Must buy Aspercreme tomorrow.

It’s inconceivable to me that tomorrow night I’ll be in the workshop house. So I’m not thinking about it yet. :-)

Okay, I just did a little more stuff, and I feel a bit better. Most of tomorrow is just packing and transferring computer files.

Life lesson learned today: If I catch a fingernail on something and bend it backwards, it’s time to consider trimming all my nails.

I probably won’t take the time to post while I’m gone, as Internet access will be sporadic. I’ll keep up with the entries, thought, and post them when I get home. Have a great month. Be productive, and have fun, too.
