Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Crudités!

In Her Hands, words written: 1475
In Her Hands, words total: 2237

Not as much done today on the Brava novella as I’d hoped, because I got a late start. No excuses, though. My outline is rapidly condensing, which is a little scary, but also necessary, given my recent reading of other like novellas (my heroine and hero have to meet earlier than I’d originally planned). So, a good start, and I left it at a good place to pick up tomorrow.

I don’t have anywhere to go tomorrow except for voting (and that’s approximately one block away from the house) and maybe a spot of food shopping (we mostly have things like Halloween cookies and pumpkin pie in the house, although we might be saved by the crudités [which is one of my favourite words, by the way. Say it with an accent!]), so after I get my writing words done, I hope to get you all caught up on the most glorious of housewarmings, the amazing renovations, and all things in between.
