Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Still zombified

Words Written: Slow Burn: 513

I got no writing done last night. I got home at about 7:15 and was in bed by 9:30. I set the alarm for 6 a.m., got up at 7, and still feel like a zombie. This sucks.

Well, hell. Tickets to an August Styx concert went on sale today, and had asked Ken to get them, and he forgot. The best I can find is 15th row, and I’m too spoiled to do that. I’ll be unhappy at the concert, and that’s cross-purposes. I so did not need to come home to that. Now I’m tired and depressed and stressed from driving in the dark and rain when I can’t bloody see the lines in the road. Oh yeah, it’s going to be a joy trying to write after supper.
