Again with the writing

Finally had the opportunity to carpool again this morning, and got back to work on DFL. The new opening is definitely kickier. It helped that the RWA session that came up on the iPod yesterday was about strong beginnings. I had way too much exposition in there—the h/h didn’t even meet until page 10, even though they were in her design firm the whole time.

Spent the evening tweaking a story for an anthology; basically re-setting it from St. Issieu’s holy well in Wales to St. Hilda’s in Yorkshire. It’s been sent, and now it’s late, and I still have a million things to do, but I’m going to bed anyway.
