Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward

Talkin' turkey

Words written: DFL 1047

The sinus headache started yesterday afternoon and continued through today; after 10 p.m., it mostly subsided, although I could still feel the lingering effects. Stupid sinuses. As a result, I’ve gotten far less writing done than my goal—but at least I wrote, and I feel really good about that.

We went out to the Old Vienna Restaurant with Morgana and Brian, Cat, and Morgana’s mother and grandmother. Most of us went for the traditional turkey dinner, but we decided we had to come back and have venison sometime soon.

Afterward we got home was when I managed to get some writing done, then Morgana and Brian came over. I deserted everyone for a while because my darling Meglet called (this is the first T’giving in a while that we haven’t been at their house for the annual Homeless Waifs Party, because they are not longer an hour away, but across the country. [sniff]). Then we all watched I Still Worship Zeus, about the resurrection of the religion of the Twelve Gods in Greece and the persecution that the followers face. Interesting stuff, although it dragged in places, and both Brian and Cat were getting sleepy.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
