Musings About Writing and Stories About Life

She's like the girl in the movie when the Spitfire falls
Like the girl in the picture that he couldn't afford
She's like the girl with the smile in the hospital ward
Like the girl in the novel in the wind on the moors

Oh, wait! We spent several hours with our new tax guy. ‘Cause two freelancers who also have rental income all makes for a challenging tax return.

We had dinner again with Morgana and Brian. They made salad, chicken marsala, and rice, and brought out a lime chutney that I wanted to eat out of the jar with a spoon. Then it was Lick-n-Stick, followed by Healing Circle

We came up with two weird habits for me, but I’ve forgotten the first one already and the second one isn’t all that weird, really. It involved knowing esoteric things about members of Styx. I know tons of people who can do that.

Ken left after dinner, and headed south to his mom’s to help her out with some house stuff. He’s off to a motorcycle rally in Nevada this weekend. He’s hoping to be back by Sunday morning, because Caterine got a bunch of us tickets to the newly reopened Getty Villa (yaaaaay!).
