I'm still finishing up Stephen King's "From a Buick 8", even though I'm not really jazzed about it (see post below). I'm taking a trip to the bookstore today to see if I can find a decent audiobook.

In print, I'm still dipping into "Salmon of Doubt", "Letters to a Young Contrarian", and Martin Amis' "Koba the Dread", all non-fiction.

But yesterday I picked up a couple of novels, Nancy Farmer's YA sci-fi "The House of the Scorpion", about a Mexican drug-lord's clone, and his attempts to escape the fate of being harvested for organs. I read a review, and it sounded pretty interesting, though I haven't started reading it yet.

Also, I picked up Michael Marshall's thriller "The Straw Men". I think it's ultimately a conspiracy-centered book, and though I usually don't like such plot devices, this one looked interesting.

As I usually ask from time to time, what are you guys reading out there?
