Matthew Yglesias takes the time to call out homophobes, but I apparently made the blunder of agreeing with one small aspect of the target. Namely, that it's important to distinguish between sexually-transmitted diseases like AIDS, and airborne communicable ones like SARS.

It's irresponsible, nonsensical medicine and policy to treat AIDS as if it's carried through the air, as I've argued before.

Also, I've taken up the unenviable role of libertarian crusader in the comment thread.
