According to the FOX News website, Ralph Nader has decided to run for President this year, as an independent.

Ralph Nader, the consumer advocate who ran for president in 2000 as a Green Party candidate, will enter the 2004 race for the White House as an independent candidate, advisers told Fox News on Friday.

A formal announcement by Nader is expected this weekend.

Apparently, he's had a bit of a falling out with the Green Party.

This is interesting, but I don't think the Democrats really have much to fear from Nader. I doubt he'll pull anything like the votes he got in the last election, especially since he won't have the voter base or support of the Greens.

And if he does end up splitting the vote in a way that hurts Democrats, don't blame me. I told him not to run.
