WHEN DID THE PRESIDENT LIE AND WHEN DID HE KNOW IT

Here from our New York World news Headquarters in new York is Connie Chung.

CC: Good afternoon to the east coast and good morning to the west coast and Hawaii. As the 9/11 commission has started public hearings today on what the Bush and Clinton administrations knew and when they knew it, President George W. Bush has responded to the assassinations by Israel of the Hamas founder and economic forecasts coming from the White House.
The President made a statement and answered a few questions moments ago as he was to begin a cabinet meeting.

The President said that his economic team have given him an upbeat, positive, forecast for immediate future and it shows that his tax cuts are working. He will work hard to make those tax cuts permanent, he said.

In answer to a question on his lack of response to 9/11 the president said the following:

“I get terrorist briefings daily… from George Tennet… and others. We take terror.. seriously.” “We will stay in the hunt…. we have serious threats because.. of what we stand for. I’m worried about all terror groups.”
“Had we known of 9/11 attacks we… would have acted…”

In response to a question on the Israeli assassination yesterday President Bush said:

"The middle east is a troubling region… the terror attacks are… troubling… Israel had a right to defend itself, we hope they understand consequences…” Bush went on to say that the United States wants a “two state answer” to the troubling middle east trouble and is sending diplomats to start the middle east peace process going again.

CC: Henry Kissinger, is the President lying?

HK: Good morning, Connie.

CC: Yeah, yeah. Is he lying?

HK: Yes.

CC: About everything?

HK: Vell, yes.

CC: All the time?

HK: I’m afraid so. Remember that I worked for Nixon, so I know lying.

CC: Thank you, Doctor Kissinger. Gerald Ford is the President lying?

GF: Betty, he is lying.

CC: The President of The United States is lying to the American people?

GF: Yes. He makes Nixon look honest.

HK: Excuse me Connie. I take exception to that. No one could make Nixon look honest.

CC: Not even president Bush?

HK: My head hurts.

GF: So does mine but he is lying, Dan.

CC: Thank you gentlemen. There you have it. The President lied to us again moments ago from the White House. We’ll have more lies and analyses from the President when he lies again, probably in a few seconds. For now I’m Connie Chung. See you later.

THIS HAS BEEN SILLY THINKING BREAKING NEWS.
