STHT the place to be in DVD.
New DVD’s this week, what you want and want to avoid:
“House Of Sand And Fog” (2003) Ben Kingsley, Jennifer Connelly, and Shohreh Aghdashloo all give great performances but the film’s edgy truth is diluted into pap by the end.
“Something’s Gotta Give” (2003) Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson star in this light fluff that is made tolerable by their presence.
“The Matrix Revolutions” the final chapter of “The Matrix” sucks.
“The Pink Panther Collection” 6 disc set includes one comedy classic (“A Shot In The Dark”) and two very funny films (“The Pink Panther” and “Return of The Pink Panther”) leaving half of this collection for the garbage.
“The Police Academy Collection” are you out of your mind?
The 7th season of “Friends”, watch TV and save some money.
“Charlie’s Angels” 2nd season. Yeah, well, let’s see, this is 27 hours of your life gone. Why don’t you plan a bank robbery or make jam instead.
“Rocky Horror Picture Show 25 th Anniversary Edition” this never worked for me on any level. If it does for you I’m sure you’d enjoy this two disc set with lots of extras.
