Your guide for what’s hot and what’s not at the movie box office this week.

The number one movie this week will be….

1.
“13 Going on 30” a new version of “Big” and all those other “comedies” from the 70’s and 80’s where a little kid becomes an adult via a magic spell. Girls from coast to coast went to sneak previews of this film last week and many were seen calling friends on cell phones on their way out.

…and the rest will be…

2. “Man On Fire” a new thriller starring Denzel Washington.

3. “Kill Bill Vol. 2” Quentin Tarentino’s smash hit sequel should still pack ‘em in.

5. “Clifford’s Really Big Movie” a family comedy based on “Clifford The Big Red Dog” directed by “Spy Kids” Robert Rodriguez, who used to direct actual films.

6. “Hellboy” is still strong in it’s fourth week.

7. “The Punisher” had a very strong first week but this comic book adaptation co-starring canned meat food product John Travolta should fade fast.

8. “Connie and Carla” women dress like men dressing like women to avoid being killed. Sounds like every night of my life in the 80’s.

9. “The Passion Of The Christ” A cleric is crucified by the government after preaching to the faithful. Sounds like every night of my life in the 90’s.

10. “Johnson Family Vacation” an all African-American remake of those awful National Lampoon Vacation movies is still polluting the multiplexes.
