The Road To The Conventions
with Connie Chung

Here from our New York world news headquarters in New York is Connie Chung.

CC: Hello America and welcome to “The Road To The Conventions”. I’m Connie Chung.

Later this month ST News will be heading to Boston for the best Democratic Convention Coverage available anywhere. Then in August we’ll hit the road to the Big Apple, Gotham itself, beautiful and tough, ever resilient and battle scarred, New York New York, the town so nice they named it twice, for the high drama and pageantry of The Republican Convention.

To get the ball rolling, we here at ST thought we would show you how we got to this place in history, by going back and looking at the decisive battles in the primaries this past Winter and Spring. So now let’s return to the night of the first test for Democrats, January 19th, 2004 and the Iowa Caucus results we reported on as it happened that chilly winter night.

THIS IS SILLY THINKING BEAKING NEWS: IOWA RESULTS.
From our Des Moines Election headquarters here is Connie Chung.

CC: Good Evening. The results of the Iowa Caucus are in and the shocking results are:

John Kerry
wins with 39%
John Edwards is second with 32%
followed by Howard Duck with 18% and
Gephardt is out of the race with a dissapointing 4th place showing with Dennis Kunicinch with 1%.

CC: John Kerry is the new comeback kid with handsome John Edwards the stud horse to watch as the race moves to the nation's first primary in the sour cream state of New Hampshire next week.
Bill Pullman, who played the president in "Independence Day" joins me once again. Bill, what do you make of the results?

BP: Well, Connie, it's good news for Kerry and...

CC: For the love of Christ! Bill, would you please put some clothes on?!

BP: I don't know what you mean.

CC: You're naked.

BP: What? Anyway Dean is now fighting an up hill battle.

CC: You're insane.

BP: Oh. I suppose you're a republican then?

CC: I'm not telling, but I never voted for your beautiful ass in "Independence Day".

BP: Thank you, Connie.

CC: You are a beautiful, beautiful man.

BP: I love you, Connie.

CC: And I love a firm male buttocks.
Be sure to join us tommorow for a wrap up on the State Of The Union Adress from Washington D.C. with that flat assed sexless George W. Bush.
I'm Connie Chung and I satisfy myself with a dildo mostly. See you later.

Silly Thinking: A new dedication to journalism.

CC: There you have it as it happened. Stay with us for all your political news, and join me tommorow for "1on1" right here at ST.
