STNews presents

This is BREAKING NEWS From ST!

Mt. St. Helens Back to life.

Here, from the New York St World News Headquarters in New Jersey, is Connie Chung.

CC: Good morning. Mt. St Helens has come back to life and is spewing more ash and gas into the atmosphere. Our Jim Farris is there.
Jim…

JF: Good morning Connie. Earthquakes started to reoccur yesterday and are now happening about 1 per minute, they were registering at about 2 on the Richter scale and have now leveled off to 1. Just as that happened the steam and ash emissions began about 7:15 am and has been happening continuously since then. With a stream of brown steam coming off Mt. St. Helens for 3 hours now, geologists say another explosion could happen at any time, without much warning. But until they can get a good look at the newly formed lava dome, which has been shrouded by fog for the last few days and soon will be clearly seen, will they make a judgment on whether to raise the alert level to 3 again.

CC: Jim, it looks spectacular.

JF: Yes Connie, it does, the steam is darker, partly because it’s backlit by the sun, and partly because it must be mixed with deeper magma.

CC: Jim, do you think aliens might have buried missing people in the mountain and will return those people, who might stumble out of the mountain and be returned to us, as the fog lifts?

JF: No.

CC: Stay safe Jim. Aliens are unpredictable.
Stay with us.

ST IS!
