STNews presents

The Road To Election Day.

Here, from our New York World News Headquarters in New Jersey, is chief meteorologist, and senior fellow at Fellows and Gals University Dan Rather Center for Fictional Journalism: Connie Chung.

CC: Good afternoon and welcome to The Road to Election Day.
This election is shaping up to be one of the most important, and interesting, ones in history. In the last century it is hard to find two candidates who hold so many opposing views on so many issues, and the ones they do agree on they have dramatic differences in how they would go about implementing their plans.
With two of three presidential debates now over, the third is this Wednesday in Arizona, let me turn to my co-host on these programs, the man who played the President in the film “Independence Day”, Bill Pullman.
Good afternoon Bill.

BP: Good afternoon Connie Chung, and hello everyone.

CC: Let me speak for everyone and say “hello” right back to you.

BP: Good.

CC: Alright. Bill, where does the country stand on this election since last Friday’s debate?

BP: Well Connie, according to our Zombie-POW poll, there has been a little movement. That’s good news for Kerry. John Kerry is now favored by 51%, Bush got 47%. Nader 1%.
Of course with a plus or minus factor of “three” it’s a dead heat, except for Nader, he’s just dead.

CC: Ha ha. Oh Bill. How does that compare with the numbers before the debate?

BP: 49, 49, before and 51,47, now. It’s still tight.

CC: Not as tight as those jockey’s you wear. WOOF!

BP: WOOF! WOOF!

CC: Ha ha ha. Oh Bill. What would Maury say?

BP: Who cares. I’d like to drive my swift boat right into your Saigon whore house.

CC: Oh Bill.

BP: WOOF WOOF WOOF!

CC: WOOF! You’re being a bad correspondent. Bad reporter. You bad boy.

BP: OWWWWHOOO!

CC: Bill. You are a scamp.
We’ll be back, from Tempe Arizona, with those hot desert winds blowing strong, for the best coverage of the third presidential debate. Join us then, and tomorrow for “One on One”. For now, this is Connie Chung, for WOOF! Bill Pullman. Be seeing you.

ST IS!
