STNews presents

ST1 on 1

Now, from our New York STNews World Headquarters in New Jersey is chief meterologist and your host, Connie Chung.

CC: Welcome back to “One on One” and Happy New Year. I’m Connie Chung.
Deadly Tsunami’s, flooding in California, snow in Las Vegas, with all the weird and deadly weather going on just since in the last few weeks, we thought we’d talk to weather expert and America’s favorite weather man, formerly of “The Today Show”: Willard Scott.
Good afternoon Willard.

WS: Well good morning Connie and hi everybody.

CC: Willard, what’s going on to cause the death and destruction we’ve seen?

WS: Right Connie. You may not want to tend the roses in the back yard with temperatures inching up into the teens and a deadly tsunami on the way. But Happy Birthday Minerva Slate. She’s one hundred years young.

CC: Yes. Willard. what causes a deadly tsunami like the one that hit after Christmas?

WS: Terrible wasn’t it?

CC: Yes.

WS: All that death and destruction makes you think about what kind manure your using in the back yard. Gold Bond certified manure keeps your lawn fresh, and your roses smelling like yesterday’s sunshine. And get rid of those pesky leaves in your gutters. You know this is leaf clogging season.

CC: Willard…

WS: No, it’s serious problem and you can destroy dead leaves with Gold Bond certified Dead Leaf Unclogger from Gold Bond. You’ll never have to think about dead leaves again, and it’s safe for Rover and all your house pets.

CC: California has been drenched with deadly flooding. Is that due to global warming?

WS: It’s a horror show out there for those people.

CC: Yes it is.

WS: Yes it is.

CC: Well…

WS:…

CC: … is it caused by global warming?

WS: I’ll tell you, if we loose some of those Hollywood bigwigs it wouldn’t be all that bad.
But seriously, it’s awful for those folks out there, and there’s more rain on the way, so make sure the kids have a raincoat in the morning, and dad, allow plenty of time to get to work with slick roads, you better slow down.

CC: Willard, is this the beginning of a long period of unstable weather or will it calm down. I mean first we had the deadly hurricanes, tsunami’s now deadly rain.

WS: Right Connie. A special birthday wish to Larry Jackson of North folk Virginia. He’s 100 today. A centurion. And Bertha Clark’s 99 years young. Happy Birthday. Now here’s the weather for you’re neck of the woods.

CC: Uhh... we don’t do that.

WS: Here’s the weather for you’re neck of the woods.

CC: OK. Thanks for being with us, Willard Scott.

WS: Here’s the weather for your neck of the woods.

ST IS!

WS: You’re neck of the woods.
