STNews presents

Now, from our New York STNews World Headquarters in New Jersey is chief meterologist and your host, Connie Chung.

CC: Good morning.
Let’s get right to Jim Farris at the observation point at Mt. St. Helen’s for an update on yesterday’s explosion.
Jim…

JF: Yes Connie, good morning. The U.S. Geological Survey just concluded their morning briefing and have said that yesterday’s event was a “fart” that since the volcano has been building a new lava dome since autumn it was inevitable that it would “pass a little gas” and did so in a spectacular way yesterday.
All of their observation equipment is still MIA and they are working hard to find it and get it up and running again today.

CC: Jim, has the alert level risen today?

JF: Ha ha. No Connie, it’s still at “two” but another explosion the size of yesterday’s blast or even greater could happen at any time, in fact is likely in the next hours and days.

CC: So no giant dinosaurs or aliens yet?

JF: No. No. No Connie. Right now it’s a waiting game. But Connie no one is saying anything like that except you, and I wish you’d stop….

CC: Thank you Jim. Stay safe. We’ll be back if anything happens as the volcano could blow. causing fear and destruction at any moment.
Have a good day. Be seeing you.

STNews IS!!!
