“A Pope’s Funeral:

An STSpecial Report”

Here, from Vatican City, is Connie Chung.

CC: Good morning from The Vatican.
At this hour the funeral of Pope Paul Second is taking place.
This is more than a funeral in the Vatican but a truly international event. World leaders from all corners of the globe, except China, are here, sitting side by side in quiet contemplation as the Catholic Church bids farewell to one of it’s most popular and long running Pope’s in Church history.
Jim Farris is with me in Vatican City. Jim.

JF: Yes Connie, Good morning.

CC: World leaders of all kinds, Presidents, Kings, Queens, Princesses, dictators…

JF: Yes Connie…

CC: Tribal leaders, union leaders. Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Mormons and Jews.

JF: It’s the kind of event a pessimist might say would never happen.

CC: But it has; and as Church leaders drone on in 22 languages, quoting the Bible, this amazing ceremony to say good bye Pope is being broadcast to, literally, every continent and country on earth, except China.

JF: Yes Connie as the College of Cardinals, in their fire engine red Pope Funeral outfits with their funny hats, stand and blow in the wind with the everyday working men and women that clutch to rooftops and building surrounding the Basilica, literally for dear life, watching the world say goodbye to a religious leader that reached out for everyone, smothering them in ancient religious dogma.
It’s moving. Connie.

CC: Lawyers, doctors, nurses, bloggers, 4 Is Enough, The Saturday Night At The Movies, nuns, priests, cardinals, writers, housewife’s, soldiers, children, adults, Moms, Dads, Bitter Loners, rapists and Jews. All taking time for a somber goodbye.
For now, somber goodbye.

STNEWS IS!!!!!!
